About 300 people have been arrested in the Indian state of Bihar, authorities say, after reports emerged of blatant cheating in school exams.
Parents and friends of students were photographed climbing school walls to pass on answers.

Libyan army to recapture Tripoli from Islamists
Libya’s national army said on Saturday that their forces are deployed on the outskirts of the capital Tripoli and are ready to “liberate” it within hours.
The army has entered the southern area of Tripoli near the international airport and will deal with the enemies inside, army Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Abdel Razek Nazawra said during an interview with a private-owned TV Libya First.
Naira records gain against dollar
The Naira appreciated against the dollar at the official and the parallel markets as at close of trading on Friday.

Japan gives UNICEF N750m for displaced Boko Haram victims
The United Nations Children’s Fund has received a grant of $3.4m (about N750m) from the Government of Japan for Integrated Provision of Life-Saving Emergency Interventions for Vulnerable Populations in the North-East of Nigeria.
According to a statement by UNICEF, the grant will be used for interventions focused on Internally Displaced Persons and conflict-affected populations in the north eastern states of the country, where the Boko Haram menace has been prominent.

A patient has tested positive for Ebola in Liberia’s capital, officials said Friday, deflating hopes that the country had beaten the disease after weeks with no new cases.

But since it discharged its last case on March 5, it was counting down to being declared Ebola-free. Countries must wait 42 days from when the last patient tests negative to be declared free of the virus.
But a new patient has now tested positive, Dr. Francis Kateh, the acting head of the country’s Ebola Incident Management Team, said Friday. A second test is generally done to confirm the diagnosis.

Abia Director arrested for raping 10-yr old housemaid to death(Photo)
The Director of Administration representing the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in the Board of the Abia State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, Mr. Christian Onuoha, has been arrested by the police for the mysterious death of his 10-year-old housemaid.
The victim, Anurika Ngwakwe, was allegedly found unconscious in Onuoha’s car in his house at World Bank Housing Estate, Umuahia, on Tuesday, before she was rushed to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
