(Reuters) - A bomb detonated by suspected Islamist militants wounded eight police officers and one civilian in the Cairo neighbourhood of Ain Shams, Egypt's Interior Ministry said.</div>

The wounded included a police captain. A bomb squad was combing the area for other possible explosives, a ministry statement said.</div>

Jaycee Chan, who like his father has worked as an actor and singer, was detained in August and charged with providing a venue for others to use drugs after police found 100 grams of marijuana at his home in Beijing.</div>

He had already spent five months in prison when he was sentenced in January after pleading guilty to "the crime of sheltering others to take drugs", which carried a maximum prison term of three years.</div>
