On Monday night, the 2015 BET Honors aired, paying tribute to African-Americans making an impact in art, music, theater, business, and more. Taped last month from Washington D.C., 2015 honoree list included Usher, Dr. Johnnetta Betsch Cole, Phylicia Rashad, John W. Thompson (Chairman of Microsoft), and of course Kanye West.
After Dame Dash presented Kanye with the Visionary Award, the audience was blessed with a video tribute for Kanye, which saw friends like Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Common, and Don C all paying their respects to the Chicago artist. "He takes ideas from the future and places them here now," Hov said.
Before it was all over though, Kanye had some fun and joined Usher, Dr. John W. Thompson, and Wayne Brady for an impromptu jam session, based on his infamous line “We Don’t Have the Answers”.
