Conjoined twin girls Knatalye Hope Mata and Adeline Faith Mata recently underwent a successful surgery to become separated.

According to Mashable.com, The girls are joined at the abdomen and share a liver, diaphragm, pelvis, intestines and the lining of the heart.

The surgery was held in Texas with lead surgeon Dr. Darrell Cass at the helm of the extensive operation.

The girls are expected to make a full recovery.
