After Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the lateWhitney Houston, was found face down in the bathtub at her home in Georgia on 21st January, her family has been by her bedside, watching as she fights for her life.
Now, the most recent development has left the R&B icon up in arms, after reports emerged his siblings have agreed to be part of a reality show that will centre on how the family is coping with Bobbi Kristina’s condition.
TMZ reported that “at least three relatives of the 21-year-old’s father Bobby Brown have taken part in the unnamed show, part of which documents Bobbi Kristina fighting for her life”.
Brown’s lawyer has rendered a statement, saying his client will not be participating in the show.
There are underlying factors that seem to have emerged since Bobbi Kristina’s discovery.
According to TMZ, Brown’s sisters have a history. Leolah is the one who went on the record, and accused singer Ray J for Houston’s death. She claimed that he encouraged the famous singer’s cocaine addiction.
Tina meanwhile, did a sit-down interview and claimed she did crack with Houston. Tina and her son Shayne Brown are also the ones who fought at a hotel near the hospital where Bobbi Kristina was admitted.
Whether these incidents will be aired remains to be seen.
As for the show’s due date, nothing has been set, however cameras have already started rolling, but not at the hospital yet.
Close friends of the family have deemed the venture “distasteful”.
However, some sources report that the family has denied allegations of a reality show altogether.
Brown’s lawyer Christopher Brown said: “Yet again, TMZ has chosen to engage in false news reporting”.
No response has been rendered by TMZ.
