Ever since she popped up on the scene, Willow Smith has had a voice and opinions all her own. It might come with some criticism that the 14-year-old needs to stop trying to grow up so fast, but you have to hand it to her, she’s been giving us style ideas for years.
In CR Fashion Book’s sixth issue, Smith continues her mini revolution with an enviable fashion spread that includes looks from Tom Ford, Dior, Chanel, Kenzo, and accessories from Lisa Eisner. We’re especially loving the printed Emilio Pucci dress from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection that features colorful details and tiered ruffles in the skirt. In another shot, she wears a peacock feather-printed Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane dress, paired with a green feathered Stacia Lang capelet. The singer is decked in chunky gold jewelry and long green nails you could almost fittingly describe as talons.
It’s hard to believe this child is only 14 years old and seems to already have a clear sense of self and style.
"I just want to have dreads. I want to embrace my full self, as natural as I can be,” Smith said of her 2015 goals, but don’t you dare try to box her in with any labels. "I think my look changes all of the time and right now it's a bit more messy, kind of grungy."
