Someone had a hot date in New York City this Valentine's Day.
America's Got Talent's Nick Cannon and Hollywood Exes's Nicole Murphy stepped out for a meal at Manhattan's Tavern on the Green on Saturday.
"They came in at about 11 p.m, casually dressed but looking terrific," a source tells PEOPLE. "Clearly they were on a date. They held hands, were very nice to everyone."
For dinner, the two shared oysters, filet mignon, mushroom soup and carbonara pasta washed down with wine for Murphy, 47, and soda for Cannon, 34.
But there was no time for dessert: "They were gone within an hour," the source says.
Could this be a fresh start for both stars? Cannon filed for divorce from Mariah Carey in January, while Murphy, formerly married to Eddie Murphy, called off her engagement to Michael Strahan in November.
Cannon and Murphy's reps did not return requests for comment.
