Tyga has insisted he's not dating 17 year-old Kylie Jenner during an appearance on Power 105.1's Breakfast Club claiming the media has made it look like they're hooking-up, after Amber Rose blasted him for leaving his fiancee Blac Chyna for the teenager.
The 25 year-old rapper appeared on the show this morning (February 17) to defend himself against the claims he dumped his girlfriend and baby-mama for the then 16 year-old claiming they were just friends, saying: "No, I'm not dating Kylie. I wanna be clear to everybody, I didn't leave my family to be with Kylie. That's ridiculous."
Tyga then went further and blamed "black culture," as the reason people didn't believe there was nothing more to the relationship, claiming in "white culture" a 25 year-old can be friends with a teenager.
It comes after Khloe Kardashian got into a very public spat with Amber Rose over the alleged relationship on Twitter, where the pair exchanged insults.
Facing off against Charlamagne Tha God, Tyga insisted he wasn't with Kylie and was just close to the Kardashian family even bringing up his ex's friendship with Kim Kardashian as a reason for him spending all his time with someone in High School.
Kylie, who is 17 going on 25, and Tyga have been inseperable for months, taking intimate Instagram pictures and the teen even going on his European tour with him last year though despite all this all sides are insisting it's completely innocent. However Tyga insisted it wasn't as bad as it seemed and it was the media who made it look like he was hanging out with Kylie rather than the family. Ok Tyga, we'll just forget the whole you taking her on tour ALONE with no other family member thing, or your dinner dates then?
Charlamagne didn't let him get off lighlty asking Tyga how he'd feel if his daughter was dating a 25 year-old, but he was not going to admit the pair are an item, even if it seems so obvious.
Twitter clearly hadn't been convinced by Tyga's performance and claimed he was lying and he's just waiting for Kylie to turn 18 in August when she'll finally become legal. His interview comes hot on the heels of Amber Rose sounding off at Tyga about the alleged romance, saying he should be ashamed of leaving Black Chyna for the youngest Kardashian.
On the very same show, Amber had her say about the controversial relationship and said hard-partying Kylie should stay at home.
“[Kylie's] a baby, she needs to go to bed at 7 o'clock and relax.” Amber said: “That’s ridiculous. [Tyga] should be ashamed of himself. That's how I feel. For sure."
Referring to Blac Chyna, who Amber is close friends with, she added: “He has a beautiful woman and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old who just turned 17.”
Amber's not the only one taking a shot at Tyga over the Kylie rumours, in his recently dropped mixtape If You're Reading This It's Too Late released on Feb. 13 Drake takes a shot at the rapper.
In '6PM in New York' he says: "I heard the lil lil homie talking reckless in Vibe / Quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside / Oh you tried, it's so childish calling my name on the world stage / You need to act your age and not your girl's age."
When asked about Drake's track on the show, Tyga, who's made it clear in the past he's got a problem with the Started From The Bottom star, said he was "two-faced".
We're guessing Kylie doesn't have a problem with him though, as she partied with him in New York this weekend at the Up and Down club alongside Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin and Drake's on/off beau Rihanna.
Truth is like flame, it. Will surely come out.. time will tell if he's lying..
