It's the morning after the night before and everyone is talking about THAT fall by Madonna at the Brit Awards.

Nick Jonas and Ella Henderson analysed the shocking tumble with Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1's breakfast show.

"You would just want the ground to swallow you up," said Ella.

"That little moment overshadowed it [her performance]," said Jonas. "She was a shining example of professionalism."

Part of the problem, said Ella, "is they way they hyped her performance before she went on".
Backstage in the winners' room, journalists and other musicians "audibly gasped" as Madonna momentarily stopped singing to recover.

"It was heart in the mouth stuff," said Newsbeat Entertainment Reporter Steve Holden.
"A room full of reporters went absolutely silent as she seemed to stay down on the floor for longer than she probably was. Then we let huge sighs of relief when she got back up to carry on.

"It could have been a lot worse. When we saw that she was ok we immediately speculated on who was getting fired. She looked furious.

"With all the debate about Madonna's relevance, a tumble down some stairs meant that she is the person everyone is talking about today."
