Floyd Mayweather was 'knocked out' during a sparring session with Zab Judah on Sunday.
Undefeated Mayweather (47-0, 26 KOs) has never been to the canvas in his professional career but now he has, at least in training ahead of his mega fight against Manny Pacquiao on May 2.

Our source, who was at the Mayweather Boxing Club, spoke on the condition of anonymity when they told us, "Zab hit Mayweather with a good shot, a left hook to the body, and he went down."

The insider added, "To my knowledge Money has never gone down ever. Not in sparring, or in the ring."

But the insider also added, "It's not unusual for a boxer to get hit hard in training and go down. And Floyd responded well. When he got up, he finished the session.

"And he beat Zab to a bloody pulp, however he was down for more than a 10 count so technically he was knocked out."

  1. Website (without quotes) "http://mediatakeout.com/64866/mto-world-exclusive-shocker-floyd-mayweather-gets-knocked-down-in-sparring-for-the-first-time-in-his-career.html?mobile=1" Either it is a hoax or he should have been fighting the whole spectrum of fighting talent the whole time and not picking and choosing for as long as he could. I don't know but he does look awfully dazed for that KO to be a hoax. Either way, Pacman should gameplan as normal. Pacman can beat May because of offense, it can be swarmed/timed by a Joe Frazier, Liston, Tyson, Foreman, Holyfield , Marciano, Walcott, Charles type(Check--Pacman can potentially do that) or it can be outboxed by an Ali, Leonard, Robinson, Hearns type(potentially turning into a KO if the fighter doesn't last). The thing that all those had in common was that they could outwork and/or had a style that made it easy to counter what you did if you didn't have offensive ability. Leonard even thwarted Hearns because Hearns could't take a punch and, more importantly, because he could swarm you when he couldn't box you. That style can get you like it did Rios, like it did Hatton(Frazier or Marciano like), or Marquez 1(where he swarmed him early to get those KDs--Tyson like). I give Pacman a 60-40 edge, because he has shown every ability that listed above. Mayweather can win if he can hit Pacman constantly hard enough to distract him from coming or if he can knock Pacman down once. If he can Pacman down once, then Pacman will probably lose automatically unless he can too score a KD. It's probably like Ali Vs Frazier 1 where they probably felt like they had to give to Frazier due to the KD in such a high profile fight. I counted the rounds up and thought Ali won. However, that makes point that Mayweather can catch Manny even once, then it is probably going to take a 4 point lead in the judges minds. I feel this fight be Holyfield(Pacman) and/or Tyson(Pacman) Vs Holmes(Mayweather). I think that Holyfield or Tyson would be Holmes any way you slice it, because Holmes had that 1-2 style that allowed Holyfield or Tyson to have a field day. And if Tyson or Holyfield could what they wanted it was lights out most often. Which one you see of Pacman the most will be how they choose to attack Mayweather.

Forgive me if I missed a word misspelled something, but this Android is almost impossible with entering information.
