ISIS Victim’s Widow Dragana Haines Wants ‘Jihadi John’ Captured Alive

Dragana Haines says she doesn't want him to have an "honorable death"

The widow of a man slain by ISIS last year says she wants to see ‘Jihadi John,’ the ISIS operative recently identified as Mohammed Emwazi, captured alive.

Dragana Haines, wife of the late British aid worker David Haines, told the BBC that if Emwazi were killed in action, it would be an “honorable death” for him. She went on, “I think he needs to be put to justice, but not in that way.”

Haines’ daughter, however, told ITV News, “I think all the families will feel closure and relief once there’s a bullet between his eyes.”

Emwazi can be seen in a number of the videos picturing ISIS captives being decapitated. He was identified Thursday as a Kuwaiti-born Londoner who had likely joined ISIS sometime after going to Syria in 2012.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder says that the administration is working to bring ISIS to justice.
