‘We took this very seriously,’ Methuen Police Chief Joe Solomon told the Valley Patriot. ‘He posted a threat in the form of rap where he mentioned the White House, the Boston Marathon bombing, and said ‘everybody you will see what I am going to do, kill people.’

The town’s superintendent of schools, Judy Scannell, noted that another student at Methuen High School saw the posting on Facebook and notified the school’s administration who in turn notified.

‘We have to commend the Methuen High School Student who came forward, we always say, if you see something, say something, and that’s what this student did,’ she told the Patriot.

‘We also want to commend the school safety officers and the administration for bringing this to our attention immediately. Threats of this kind of violence is unacceptable and will not be tolerated, not in Methuen they won’t.’

Police found an Xbox video game system and a laptop upon searching D’Ambrosio’s home. ‘Detectives are also looking deeper at his Facebook page,’ the AP reported.
Solomon noted that the 18-year-old had additionally disturbing photos and posts on his Facebook page including the words, ‘F**k politics, F**k Obama and F**k the government!!’

D’Ambrosio also has an ‘unusual interest’ in the Pixar movie Monsters University, Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffee & Smoothies and Adalia Rose, a six-year-old Texas girl with the early-aging disease Progeria, Gawker pointed out about his Facebook page.

‘I do want to make clear he did not make a specific threat against the school or any particular individuals but he did threaten to kill a bunch of people and specifically mentioned the Boston Marathon and the White House,’ Solomon told the Patriot.
‘The threat was disturbing enough for us to act and I think our officers did the right thing.’

D’Ambrosio was arraigned Thursday morning in Lawrence District Court.
