PROVIDENCE - Malia Obama, the president's daughter, was nowhere to be found on the campus of Brown University at midday Wednesday.
The 16-year-old high school junior spent Tuesday touring the Providence campus, according to people who saw her. The eldest daughter of the Obamas has also been spotted at other colleges in New York and New England.
According to tweets, Malia Obama was seen visiting the Brown Center for Students of Color, and accompanied other high school students from around the country on campus during tour week that coincides with spring break.
Malia Obama and a group of friends ate at XO Cafe on North Main Street in Providence Tuesday night.
According to other tweets and emails, apparently Malia was next off to tour the Harvard University campus.
