While it looked like Kim Kardashian West may have ditched the blonde and gone back to brunette, the reality star’s quick hair change was all thanks to a wig.
In the latest photo posted on her Instagram page, you can’t miss West’s long dark hair, but according to a source the new look was just for a campaign.
“On set a few days ago with the amazing @ellenvonunwerth,” she captioned her pic wearing the brown wig. “Can’t wait for you to see the projects we’ve been working on!”
On March 17, the 34-year-old star’s close friend and makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic also posted a photo (above) of a dark-haired Kardashian.
“Brunette vibes today on set … guess who? #MakeupByMario”
While it seems her hair is staying blonde for the moment, the full-time job of keeping up the color isn’t forever.
“It was a really last-minute decision, and I loved taking this risk,” she told PEOPLE. “It’s a fun look, but I’m not sure how long it’ll last — but a fun break for now.”
